Mammographic Trends of Pakistani Women Single Institutional Study

Background: Breast carcinoma is the most common cancer and leading cause of related death in women world wide.Mammography currently gold standard method to screen & diagnose breast at early stage. Materials Methods: This retrospective cross sectional study conducted department Diagnostic Radiology PUMHSW.SBA. Mammography examination including MLO CCviews performed between 1January 31st December 2020 are included Results:Total 579 were referred for mammogram this 12 month duration.Of these 225 ladies had no complains while 354 complained symptoms. The mean age patients was 46 years complain mastalgia (44%). Total 2316 examinations 1158 breasts 900 1416 screening diagnostic settings respectively.Out 58 (6.4%) reported BIRADS IV. Conclusions:Our noted reduce trend Pakistan 6.4% potential can be detected asymptomatic by mammogram.
